Buffalo Infringement Festival: Day 3

If you don't believe me when I tell you that the Infringement Festival is one of the more overwhelming parts of Buffalo summers, then look at this god damn schedule for today. That's just ridiculous. I don't even know where to start on this thing really, but I am going to attempt to pluck a few of the better offerings on this busy Saturday for you to check out.

Apocalypse Ball
Whether you like it or not, zombies are so hot right now. The guys at Terror Technologies have basically been telling us this for years. Tonight at Nietzsche's, one of the festival's many costume themed parties goes down, and you guessed it, zombie attire will get you in at a discounted price ($3 with, $5 without). One of Buffalo's newer acts on the scene, Lesionread, will be apart of the evening. I would explain him myself, but I think Kevin Cane said it best: "some new kid who does weird shit." Full lineup for the Ball can be found here. The easy bet of the night is that Fattie King will be in attendance. Party runs from 8pm - 3am.

Tony Rocky Horror
I first caught this band at Nietzsche's a few weeks back playing along with the Malones and they appear to be getting some buzz around town lately. The high pitched punk two piece will be playing a couple shows during the festival, but if you happen to find yourself around The Gallery Next Door (134 Elmwood) tonight at 10ish, then stop in and cross something off your Infringement bucket list. Check them out on bandcamp before you head over.

The Bazaar of the Prodigiously Absurd
I selected this event strictly because of the name. After clicking the event on the festival website, it appears that there is some big wheel to spin. Spinning the wheel "unveil(s) your deepest desires, greatest fears and the general underpinning of humanity." Yeah, I don't know either, but it could be fun. Let me know. The wheel will be available to spin over at Picasso Moon(260 Allen St.) from 3pm-5pm this afternoon.

COFFEE
I thought this may be a new band to the area that we have not caught yet but this is actually just free samples of some herbal coffee being given out at the Center for Holistics and Arts(140 Elmwood). I am not a coffee guy myself, but if you need that afternoon pick me up, samples are being given out from 4pm-6pm.

If none of my suggestions floats your boat, then there are about 500 more things to see, do, and hear today, so good luck to you. Here is the schedule once again.
