Del Paxton has recently caught our eye with its placement on the recent Mouth to Mouth to Mouth bill over at the Jungle Gym. Although we missed the show, we finally got a first listen to their debut single "Worst.Summer.Ever.." The tune combines the best aspects of 90s indie rock and early emo (before Bert McCracken bastardized it). Fans of The Promise Ring, Hey Mercedes, and Tugboat Annie should give it a listen.
