Tired Iron has just released a new song called "Rut," which, ironically, is NOT what this Buffalo-based punk band is in (if that awful opening statement went over your head, what I'm trying to say is that Tired Iron isn't in a rut). In four minutes and fourty six seconds, the band (d)evolves from an intelligent punk onslaught into a dirty surf breakdown only to come back around again for a climactic finish. The guitars are overblown to the point of being almost theatrical - but I think that's the point. One listen through this song is the equivalent to a sonic punch in the face. Listen below.
