Between a mighty fine solo album and his horn work in Mallwalkers, Tony Flaminio continues to have a great 2013. In addition, Flaminio heads the 90's alt-rock torch bearers Failures' Union, who have just announced they will release their new album, Tethering (Paper & Plastick / Sheets of Tens), their first new LP since 2009's In What Way, later this fall. The long time Mohawk Place staple, whose sound falls somewhere in between 90s acts like Gin Blossoms and Polaris, can be found playing tomorrow night in the basement of Spiral Scratch Records for a show with Returners and To Tremble. You can check out the new video for the band's great new single, "Between," below. The clip features an ever-changing cast of characters portraying Flaminio, including Mallwalkers band mate Jamie Rowitsch.
