We first heard Del Paxton a few weeks ago when they unveiled their first song, "October." This week, they've released a new song called "Surfs Up," a minute and thirty nine seconds worth of perfect first wave emo. This band is a no-brainer for Fans of The Get Up Kids or Mineral, but even fans of math rock will appreciate Del Paxton's riffy goodness and quirky time signatures. I'm starting to think these guys might not actually be having the worst summer ever...
