Yesterday I was excited to see an e-mail from Buffalo–based remixer/mash-up extraordinaire, Edwang in my inbox. You may remember our post from last April where we featured Edwang’s pain med inspired Kendrick Lamar/Youth Lagoon mashup. Turns out, Mr. Edwang has kept busy this summer while nursing an elbow injury by releasing this week his remix/mash-up album aptly titled, How I Spent My Summer Vacation. His re-makes are not as hyper as Girl Talk or Super Mash Bros, as Edwang takes a chilled out, slowed down approach. How I Spent My Summer Vacation features edits of releases by Busta Rhymes, Mike Jones, Lil Wayne and Tupac, among many others. Fans of The Hood Internet would like it.
