Having already released one of my favorite albums of 2013, the rustic New Moon, The Men are prepping an acoustic companion EP titled Campire Songs. Featuring stripped down cuts of select tracks from New Moon, the EP also contains a new song, the Kurt Vile-esque "Turn Your Color." Backed by a soothing drone and contemplative acoustic strumming, this beauty of a tune is another great change a pace for the band, who continue to move away from the aggressive garage territory of their early recordings. Campfire Songs will be released on October 15th.
