Tonight: Helix

Club Phenomenology is the brainchild of Sean Feiner and Nick States, and they're striving for The Future with an eye on the past.
In association are Kyle Tatum and Brian Doyle (the duo that comprise Eyes Everywhere).

Tonight, they are bringing the Night Slugs label to Western New York for the first time as Helix takes over The Wastelands. Night Slugs is the label who brought artists like Bok Bok, Mosca and Girl Unit to the surface. The bass and techno Atlanta native Helix, will be supported by Eyes Everywhere, Paul Kuenzi, Nicky Fowler and Mascone Lee. There will also be art by LOLNEWMEDIA.

"The event aims to bring together music and art as well as the community," Doyle said. The Club Phenomenology crew is planning to start a free-release label called Cool Dad Records and, as they said, "want to continue throwing parties aimed at bringing together everyone in the scene in a place free of judgment or prejudice." In other words, #PLUR.

Infected Mushroom is performing tonight at Town Ballroom; with the Wastelands located across the way from the venue, consider it a pregame or after-party spot. For those who plan on just getting weird without Mushroom, see you at the Wastelands.
