Tonight: Bad People N' Friends Tour Kickoff

Bad People is throwing a shindig at the Jungle Gym tonight in celebration of their second release Mean Talkin' on pimp ass 7" vinyl and the kickoff of their tour. The spotlight will be shared with a few other awesome bands (listed above). We have Malfunction (hardcore), that Ronnie Raygun (future-goth-punk), and Sun Black Smoke (stoner metal).

Forget not cash monies for the $6 entry and merch. And I bet there'll be a donation bucket. Hahaaa! A little couch-digging is in order.

Tonight: Better Times 7" Release Show

Better Times is one of the best hardcore bands in Buffalo...period. A classic combination of NYHC, youth crew and mid-tempo stomp, BT has been raising a much-deserved buzz around town. Tonight, the BT fella's will be celebrating the release of their new 7", If Not Us. Also on the bill are hard hitters Bad People, who will be releasing a 7" as well, titled Pearls Before Swine, Malfunction and Tied Down. The Flesh Temple is the spot (1245 Niagara st) and it's only $5 to get in (6pm). See what Buffalo's got to offer these days and head down. Hardcore for those that like their core HARD.

Tonight: Chosen Ones Record Release Show

Buffalo's own Chosen Ones are releasing their new album, They Called Your Number, on Reaper Records, and they are celebrating their debut LP release with digital download at Mohawk Place tonight.  These guys specialize in energetic punk rock with gruff vocals... the perfect local band for fans of Social Distortion or Rancid.  This, of course, is the raucous and rowdy kind of show that is perfect for Mohawk Place, and let's be honest, you should probably experience a classic punk show there before it's too late!

Also playing at the show are The Clockers, B-Side Bastards, their Reaper Records peers in Malfunction, and will also feature Culture Clash DJ Sets.  The show is only $10 and it starts at 7:00.

Tonight: Foundation

It's another one of those days. Four great shows in Buffalo (see our previews) and I can choose only one. In fact, I feel like I'm in one of those Choose Your Own Adventure Books. One wrong move and I'm kicking myself in the arse for moving left when I should have moved right. Fortunately, I know I'll have a good time at this jammy jam. Hardcore giants Foundation will be making their way to Buffalo along with support from Goodbye Cruel World, Sabotage and Malfunction. These are HARD bands, and, quite frankly, this semester has got me stressed. Time to blow off some steam and get my dance on. Shows at 6:30 at the Funeral Home and is $10.
