While millionth may be a slight stretch, Buffalo's Harvestsum Records' long running annual Thanksigiving Eve show will continue tonight at Mohawk Place. This year's lineup is as good as any as garage rock trio Johnny Nobody, On Beta, which features Harvestsum head honcho Mark Nosowicz, and 90's alt rock torch bearers Bearhunter make up the bill. On Beta will even be celebrating the release of their album You've Got Blood In Your Heart to boot. The show begins at the easy to remember time of 8:06pm. Having not been at every one of the million Harvestsum Thanksgiving Eve shows, am I missing some kind of inside joke on the starting time here? No matter. Thanksgiving Eve is traditionally a massive excuse to drink in this city, but you have all night for that. On the other hand, Mohawk Place does sell beer. Check their facebook event pages if you don't believe me. Harvestsum (which kind of sounds Thanksgiving-y right?) traditionally puts on the best turkey day eve show so do not miss it.
