The Blue Monk is getting a little more experimental in their music choices tonight as they invite local percussionist David Wasik to perform his solo electro show. We recently wrote about the music of The Waz earlier this month in a preview for his Nietzsches show. buffaBLOG writer Sean McGill described Waz's music as"reminiscent of early electronic acts such as Tangerine Dream and Pink Floyd, merged with the mixed rhythms of bebop artists like Miles Davis or John Coltrane." If you were not able to make it out to his last show then it would be an excellent idea to stop by the Blue Monk tonight.... you can drink really good beer and support a local artist and his awesome music. The show starts at 10 pm.
