Tonight, Slyboots (350 Ellitcott St. ) will be hosting two bands hailing from Fredonia, NY, Mr. Boneless and Well Worn Boot, as well as Brooklyn based electronic duo Too Tiger. Well Worn Boot is a psychedelically goofball outfit, think Jethro Tull with 80s hair metal vocals, that have been playing the Fredonia circuit for just over a year. The band seems almost too grandiose of a project for the small college town. After scouring dozens of youtube videos searching for the right words to describe the band, I came across a motif. Mr. Boneless is an alt-country quartet, which remind me almost as if Fleet Foxes merged with a scuzzed out Tom Waits on a Man Man tour. Let your hair down tonight and paint the town red.
