Well folks the holiday season is upon us.  In just two short days most of the country will be home with their families and preparing to stuff their face full of turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes, rolls, pie, beets and in my family caesar salad(don't ask.)  Every year we Americans gather with our family, sometimes begrudgingly, and listen to uncle so and so's stories about nothing, watch football and discuss the fresh news topics that people can't seem to stop talking about.  Topics this year will include, the Penn State scandal, Occupying everywhere, and oh I don't know... how about the NBA lockout? Just kidding, please don't do that.  Anywho, maybe this could be the year you change everything for your family, instead of conforming to the boring old standards of which we have all become to accustomed to and bring some electronic music in to your families life.  There are countless numbers of great outcomes that could come out of opening up your relatives to a new way of listening to tracks.  Remixes of some of the best songs out there could really change the way you and your loved ones eat turkey and spend time this year.

Today's remix, and you should share it on Thursday, comes from Nicky Romero remixing 44 year old French House Producer David Guetta's "Titanium."  David Guetta over the last few years has become incredibly infectious with his songs and collaborations with names like Kid Cudi, Akon, Kelly Rowland and many more.  "Titanium," off Guetta's latest release in August has seen many DJ's step up to the plate to remix this track.  My favorite to date is Nicky Romero's attempt.  Romero, a 22 year Dutchman, has been drawing quite a bit of water as of late and has put a wonderful little spin on Guetta's track.  The song already is packed full of house and dance but Romero has added that extra grit that really gets your head bobbing and can really launch you in to full on rage.  So this holiday, if things look like they might be getting boring and you just want to spice up the house, throw some of this music on and who knows, your family may just have needed you to light the spark!
