Thank god Thanksgiving is over. Don't get me wrong: I love the holiday because I love eating, but when it takes you almost a week to feel like you are not about to burst, it's prob for the best that the day is only once a year. December has arrived, which can be a good thing and a bad thing here in Buffalo. Our extended fall period looks like it is reaching an end, which means snow and the bitter cold will be arriving any day now along with the misery that can accompany them, but December also means the holiday season is in full bloom. Walking down Elmwood, with the lights in the trees and shop windows decorated, you can't help but feel giddy for the upcoming festivities. While we are on the subject of feeling giddy, December boasts a great selection of shows to keep you busy and out of the house on those cold snowy nights.
