Just Announced: Chiddy Bang

After UB students were up in arms about their Student Association's planning of the annual Fall Fest (the headliner was The Fray), it appears the SA is determined to make sure the spring semester turns out differently. Yesterday, the SA announced that Chiddy Bang, the rap outfit known for cranking out college party jams such as the MGMT-sampling "Opposite of Adults," will perform on campus at Alumni Arena on Feb. 4 at 8 p.m. The concert will be free for UB undergraduates, $15 for undergraduates at other schools (these people should purchase their tickets at the arena's box office), and $30 for everyone else. Termed the "SA Small Concert 2012," this show will likely increase UB students' expectations for Spring Fest. Whatever ends up happening with Spring Fest, this is a wise choice by the SA, as Chiddy Bang will likely put on a fun show.
