Do you need to prove to the world how this incredibly cold and snowy Saturday can't keep you from live music? Look no further than Aye Karou tonight @ Slyboots. Aye Karou is a band with a huge and sprawling guitar sound. They bring to mind the work of gigantic bands like Built To Spill and Broken Social Scene. Excellent cut "We Can" is an example of the driving force of guitars that is to the heart of this band. Don't we all need a little guitar worship here and there? I certainly know I do.  Tonight's show is located downtown at Slyboots (350 Ellicott) and lights and sound will be handled by Ripe Audio, it all gets started at 9PM.
