Tonight's late show at Mohawk Place is headlined by a Pittsburgh outfit called Red Hands, whose alt-metal sound grooves as much as it roars. When I checked out their Facebook page, the first thing I heard was a driving guitar riff in 7/4 time - the beginning of the epic "The Waves Won't Destroy Themselves." This isn't the type of music I usually get into, but I found myself enjoying the couple of songs I found online. The show gets started at 10 p.m., and openers include Alberto Alaska, All of Them Witches, and Voices of Autumn.
