Horn lovers take note. The 6 piece jazz/funk/afro beat fusion Herculaneum roll through town tonight at Halwalls Art Center at Babeville. The band's latest LP, UCHŪ, is set to drop mid month so expect from newer jams to be tested out tonight. According to their website, they have opened for the likes of Broken Social Scene, TV on the Radio, and fellow Chicagoians(is that a word?) Wilco over the years. I like the sounds of that. Herculaneum take the stage tonight at at Halwalls at 8:0pm with support from three piece outfit Bear Flames. Tickets run $12 or $10 with valid student ID.
