Please allow me to introduce myself, the name is Adam.  Now that that’s out of the way let’s discuss some of the content I will be bringing forth to the buffaBLOG for your reading pleasure.  Across the Pond will focus on bands from the other side of the Atlantic, mostly Great Britain.  Now, I know you may be thinking to yourself “this bullocks has nothing to do with the Buffalo music scene?!” to which I say “So what? Maybe you’ll learn something you didn’t know or find some obscure band you like, this is good.”  It is not my aim to push my favorite stuff on you, but let’s face it, that’s probably how this will go for the first few weeks. 

It all begins next week when I review the Super Furry Animals, a favorite of some of the buffaBLOG staff, and a band that has been producing great albums since the early 90s.  You may recognize the front man Gruff Rhys from his work with Boom Bip, Gorillaz and De La Soul (to name a few).  We will begin our adventure in Cardiff, Wales.  Bring your raincoat.
