tUnE-yArDs at Town Ballroom, 7 p.m.! Put that sentence on a loop in your head because Merrill Garbus’s music project will be in its full glory tonight for the first time in Buffalo. Accompanied by funky bassist Nate Brenner and a wily saxophone section, Garbus will be creating afro-beats for us all night long, often composed of nothing but her ukulee and octave-dancing voice. Coming off her critically acclaimed album of 2011 w h o k i l l, Garbus has been performing all over the country, especially within the festival circuit. Tonight may be a more intimate affair, it being a Wednesday and the show getting nowhere near the press of other indie favorites like M83.  All the more room to dance in my opinion; I wouldn’t pass this up.
