On Wednesday, July 18th, the Market Arcade Theatre(639 Main Street) will be offering a one night only screening of the LCD Soundsystem documentary titled Shut Up & Play the Hits.  The film follows LCD front man James Murphy as he leads up to the indie dance act's final show, April 2nd 2011 at Madison Square Garden, as well as footage from the concert and the immediate aftermath.  The band should be a model for others on how to end on a high note.  LCD released their best album, at least in my opinion, in 2010's This is Happening, and rather than drag the band to a tiresome end, Murphy went out on top with a 4 hour show for the ages at the Garden.  Tickets for the screening go on sale this Wednesday, June 27th, for a flat price of $10, and can be purchase at Supernaut Productions website.  The film starts at 8:00pm.
