It feels likes in been year's since Grizzly Bear released something new. While all of the band members have been busy, from singer/guitarist Daniel Rossen's great solo E.P. Silent Hour/Golden Mile, to bassist/producer solo Chris Taylor 's project CANT, to the various collaborations from co-singer Ed Droste, the three years since their breakthrough album, the lush, orchestral Veckatimest, dropped has felt like much longer for fans. The Brooklyn four piece will release much anticipated follow up album on September 18th. The release has yet to be titled, but one track, "Sleeping Ute", is already out. The Rossen led number already sounds like a GB classic, full of angular guitars and chaotic percussion. The band, who also announced fall tour dates, sadly will not be making a stop in Buffalo(although not from lack of trying....), but they will be at Toronto's Massy Hall on September 26th.
