With the heat subsiding to more comfortable levels, it now appears safe to leave your AC for a few hours and venture outside.  And what better way than a BBQ.  Steak & Cake just happens to be throwing one today and it would be wise to stop by.  Located at S&C headquarters at 410 Potomac, the local indie label will be throwing a donation based fundraiser that not only lands you a tasty hot dog and cold beer, but also the acoustic sounds of some of Buffalo's fav musicians including Steven Floyd, Andy Vaeth from Johnny Nobody, current S&C artist Damian Weber, and label founder Brandon Schlia.  Last year's BBQ not only was a pleasant day of fun and tunes, but there were some nice giveaways to be had, so at the very least, let curiosity take you to see whats available this year.

The Steak & Cake Backyard BBQ Acoustice Showcase II begins today at noon and runs to 8:00pm.
