DIY label Steak & Cake Records caps off a busy summer with the release of Signo Vinces' first full length album 85//87. Comprised of Love Scene's Leah Loefke and record label founder Brandon Schilia, the duo had previously released a cover album titled Kids Undercover earlier this spring, but 85//87 marks the first full length release of original music from the pair. According to Schlia, "the music was written over the course of 2 or 3 weeks with the idea that this would be an 80's record but by the end I realized we were much closer to dream pop disguised as club jams." Both Schlia and Loefke share vocal duties on the album, which also includes additional vocals and spoken word from Bourbon and Coffee.
