A couple months ago I discovered some songs I liked from a band called Junip on hype machine.... I downloaded their EP from the website (this isn't available anymore) and then read that the band is actually Jose González's original band before releasing his solo work. The band never actually released an album 10 years ago but now they have a finished piece of work... and a great one at that. The album isn't released until later this month but if you visit their site you can pre-order and receive the track "Always" early. OR you can click play on the npr player featured below that has the ENTIRE album available for a first listen (thank you npr... you helped us out last week as well). I highly suggest listening to the album in its entirety but you can also pick individual tracks at the npr website and learn more about the band. Junip will be in Toronto playing at Lee's on November 5th.
