The Artpark Tuesday in the Park free concert series continues tonight with everyone's favorite quintessential '70s band - Cheap Trick. The venue will sure to be packed with the 40-and-over crowd, who will be there to reminisce and hear monster hits such as "Surrender" and "I Want You To Want Me." Cheap Trick's hard-edged yet poppy sound has earned them a reputation among some media members as the "American Beatles." Concertgoers at tonight's show should also consider themselves lucky; after the stage collapsed during a Cheap Trick show in Ottawa, it's amazing that nobody was hurt, and the band continues to tour. If you're still reading this and you still don't know who Cheap Trick is, maybe this will do something for you: the band recorded a version of Big Star's "In the Street," which served as the theme song to That '70s Show.
