Lo-fi girl and boy garage-rock duo Bill Times A Billion haven't made a huge splash in the local music scene quite yet. They're just too modest and nonchalant to grab you by the lapels. But things might start to change in the coming months when word gets around that this unassuming pair of drums and guitar players craft some of the most original indie rock around. The group creates an unique blend of music that takes the cutesy bubble gum elements of The Pains of Being Pure at Heart and combines them with the loud grungy simplicity of The White Stripes. Add a tiny bit of trumpet & you got something no one else in this city is offering. The band will be playing forth in our Broadway Market Rooftop Extravaganza Party promptly at 3pm & the show is free. Plus the view from the rooftop is pretty impressive.
