Tonight: Aqueous & Slip Madigan

Tonight Mr. Goodbar hosts a post Alice Cooper jam session, as local favorites Aqueous and Slip Madigan join forces for a late night gig. Fresh off their appearance on the WBNY Local show, the eclectic genre-less Slip Madigan opens the evening up. Slip has been one of Buffalo's best kept secrets for sometime now, and after a dynamite performance opening for Keller Williams at Joe Urge's "Weekend Off 3" festival, the boys have kicked into high gear. Blending traditional jam rock with jazz fusion, latin grooves, and a little something that resist labels, Slip's tight sound is sure to get your body moving in a way that won't bother that sore neck you have from headbanging at the Alice Cooper show. Gearing up for this weekend's "Slyfest 6", Aqueous has been all over the Buffalo music scene playing shows. They are quickly becoming one of Buffalo's most well known bands, in part to their glow in the dark bracelets, but primarily because of their wonderfully crafted spacey funk fusion. They use their effects wonderfully, and always put together seamless crowd pleasing sets. They will no doubt be amped up for this weekend's festival, and will give the audience a taste of what to expect tomorrow night. Slip Madigan gets started around 11:30 pm, and Aqueous goes on around 12:30 - 1am, and the show will only cost you a meager $3.
