Tonight: Nietzsche's Open Mic Performer of the Month Concert Series

Most who follow the Buffalo music scene are aware that Nietzsche's, the Allen Street venue where most local acts get their first important gigs, holds an "open mic" every Monday, allowing those artists/bands who can't yet score a gig on their own a chance to prove themselves on stage. Tonight, the bar kicks off its "Open Mic Performer of the Month" concert series. The details are hard to come by, but from the name of the event, it sounds like the best open-mic-ers are invited to play at a special showcase. Tonight's show features Keith Michaud, Kate Panfil (of the Erie Lackawanna Railroad), Sick, Scantron, and Joe Donahue (of the Erie Lackawanna Railroad and The Albrights). Cover charge is $5.
