This week's remix comes all the way from Norway. Datarock has been busy working on a rock opera about a Norwegian band that travels to America (quite a stretch). The title track is "California", a high energy summer anthem complete with big electronic toms, funky guitars, and call and response chants typical of Datarock's signature sound. Fellow Norwegian Ralph Myerz gives the track the dubstep treatment, morphing the song into a hazy late night club track. Check out the original track first, then give the remix a spin. Look out for the new Ralph Myerz album Outrun, dropping later this month.
