After what seemed like months of leaks, the complete compilation of Radiohead's The King of Limbs is set to drop in October. TKOL RMX 1234567, or as we call it on buffaBLOG Radio, TKOL RMX 1234567 (Chris and I are still working on a kick name) features 2 discs of 19 remixes from artists like Four Tet, Caribou, and Jaime XX. Upon scanning the track listing, I immediately went to find the remix of "Codex". My favorite track since I first got my hands on The King of Limbs( I am an eternal sucker for ballads), "Codex" is a simple song, mostly Thom Yorke's always haunting lyrics, backed by a simple piano melody and subtle strings. Illum Sphere's take on the track splices up Yorke's lyrics and backs them with building, yet menacing beat, while distant piano keys lead the song to it's finish.
