Stephen Malkmus is a name that's as recognizable as any in indie rock circles. Frontman for the legendary Pavement, and singer/songwriter for a multitude of bands (most which bear his name) this is a dude with obvious street cred and a never-ending potential to create memorable lo-fi rock songs. His last album with the Jicks, Real Emotional Trash, was probably my favorite album of 2008 and the new Jicks album, Mirror Traffic, is well on it's way to becoming my favorite album of 2011. "Tigers", a track from the recently released, Beck-produced disc now has a hilarious video.
