Those who prefer their songs short and sweet may wish to stay home as tonight at Nietzsche's, extended jams, deep grooves, and pretty much long songs, to be honest with you, will dominate as the venue welcomes the particularly funky MK Groove Trio.  Led by Mike Krammers, a Syracuse native who currently resides in Brooklyn, the MK Groove Trio will be touring the state in support of their new EP The Claustrophobic Noise.  The trio is made of up the rhythm section of the 13 piece outfit Space Funk.  For a taste of what the Trio will bring to Nietzsche's tonight, give yourself a listen to a preview of their EP.  Horns a plenty and DEEP bass dominate the lead off track, "Fists of Fury" of the EP, which will be released on September 17th 

Opening for the MK Groove Trio will Buffalo's Ramforinkus and Peanut Brittle Satellite.  Fresh off a performance at Slyfest, the indie jam act Ramforinkus continues to evolve their sound to cover ska, jazz, grunge, and countless other genres.  Their recent performance at the College Street Block Party during this year's Infringement Festival saw the act introduce some very jazz heavy new numbers.  You can currently purchase their latest singles at their iTunes page.  Also in support  tonight will the prog rock jam outfit Peanute Brittle Satellite, who just last April celebrated the release of their latest album Planet Girth.  With influences from Pink Floyd, Frank Zappa, and Genesis, the band is nothing if not ambitious.  Plus, they have a glockenspiel.   

Tonight's MK Groove Trio show w/Ramforinkus and Peanut Brittle Satellite begins at 10:00pm.  Although cover is not specified, chances are it will be closer to $8-$10 for the show.
