Samiam was always one of those bands you either loved or just didn't get.  If you were a fan of 90's indie or punk theres a good chance you worshipped this band. Clumsy and Astray are percieved as punk rock masterpieces by many, and the band's unique sound has kept them fresh and relevant, a difficult task considering they've been together since 1988.  The band is currently touring off their new album, Trips, and are scheduled to hit Mohawk Place tonight with two other great bands.  Local favorites and Gin Blossoms worshippers, the Failures Union, as well as Garrett Klahn Acoustic (playing Texas is the Reason numbers as well as solo jams) will be opening the show.  Make sure to get there early and catch the openers. $15 gets you in.  Doors at 7pm.  Listen below for their excellent cover of the Stooges classic "Search and Destroy".
