You've surely heard of the #OccupyWallStreet protests; by now, there's even a strong faction of occupiers here in Buffalo.  Putting a musical spin on it, Kanye West and Russell Simmons visited the protesters on Monday, showing that they too are against the Gold Diggers on Wall Street. Kind of ironic, considering Kanye often raps about how much money he has, but to me, it's still important that he went.  As misguided as Kanye sometimes is, he does come across as a decent human being once in awhile, and he is an artist, so maybe he'll be inspired by what he saw.  Other musicians that have visited the occupiers in New York include Jeff Magnum and Talib Kweli.  A video of Russell Simmons speaking for Kanye and Kanye looking annoyed that he has to appear to the media is below.
