Jim Gaffigan is not a typical stand up comedian, he's the kind of guy that can get on stage and do 8 minutes of bacon jokes and have you rolling the entire time. He's a self-deprecating observationalist that often finds humor in places entirely unexpected, his bit on escalators being one of the funniest things I have ever heard. He's also known for speaking in 2 voices on stage, with the higher of these 2 iterations usually being a critical audience member... it's weird, but after awhile I couldn't even imagine him without it.
