Just two months after seeing them open for Bon Iver at the sold out show at Toronto's Sound Academy, the Rosebuds will be making a stop in Buffalo tonight at the Tralf as a part of their own headlining show. The North Carolina duo, comprised of former married couple Kelly Crisp and Ivan Howard, the latter of whom serves as a member for the R&B flavored indie super group Gayngs( featuring members of Megfaun and Bon Iver himself, Justin Vernon), is touring in support of their most recent release, 2011's Loud Planes Fly Low. The album, which is the first Rosebuds release since the duo ended their marriage, is washed in melancholia and features the anthemic first single "Woods". Tonight's Rosebuds show, which features support from fellow North Carolina muscians Mount Moriah and local alt-country act The Andrew J. Reimer's Country-Punk Extravaganza, is $12. Doors open at 7:00pm.
