I will admit it, as a electronic kid who is in love with dubstep, I did not immediately love Moombahton. The first time I heard it, all I could think was when does the bass drop? why does this build up and then go right back in to the same thing? Maybe I was just ignorant to change my ways, but as they say, ignorance is often bliss. The more and more I gave it a chance, the more I fell in love. Music that I once considered just a bunch of claps, air horns, and whistles, has slowly transformed in to a great new world for my electronic ears to rome. Now, moom moom (yes I have heard Moombahton called moom moom ugh) has ventured in to the powerhouse that is Florence and the Machine. Voodoo Farm, a project of producer/dj/filmmaker Liam Durlam, has put his interesting spin on the Machines "Shake it Out." This moombahton remix of an already great track makes this tune an instant addition to any dance party mix.
