I first heard Yellow Ostrich's song "Whale" on an episode of NPR's All Songs Considered and it was love at first listen. They just came out with a new album, Strange Land, and its absolutely fantastic.  They play tonight at Mohawk Place for what will prove to be an excellent night of indie music.  Opening for them will be one of our new favorite local bands Canary Girls and Pittsburgh based rock band 1,2,3. Tickets are $12 at the door. Show starts at 9 pm. See you there!
