The angular indie-punk of San Diego's Weatherbox has been assaulting ears since their 2007 debut American Art. Since then, frontman Brian Warren has had a prolific career - now seven releases deep (not to mention an ever-revolving collective of approximately 20 ex-members) and hot off of a successful tour with Bad Books, they're releasing a two-song split with Sainthood Reps.
About their contribution to the split, a track titled "Big News," Warren explains, “This song is about staying in your room for two months, thinking that
everybody in the world hates you, and then coming out and realizing you
were right.” That sounds a lot like my life! Check it out below.
