It comes as no surprise then, that "Word Is Bond" from the MC's upcoming Summer Knights mixtape features a nocturnal sounding piano loop, hard hitting drums, and scratches produced by Static Selektah. With his breathless delivery and clever wordplay, which includes a shout out to former New York Governor George Pataki and references to Dave Chappelle's Rick James character, Joey is capable of lyrically running circles around his peers.
