Buffalo Infringement Festival: Day 7

We're now officially a full week into Buffalo's Infringement Festival. Unless you've been living under a rock (or you know, in the suburbs or something lame like that), you probably know what Infringement is all about by now. Suburban moms be warned - this isn't your every day art festival. Helpful hint - if you have to ask for directions to get to Elmwood, this might not be your cup of tea. As for the rest of us, there is a slight possibility you may be overwhelmed by the sheer number of opportunities available. But just remember, this is a great time to explore our beautiful city and its incredible art and music scene. You might as well grab the nearest copy of Artvoice, spin around a few times, point a finger, and go where ever that finger lands.

Or you could just listen to our suggestions here at buffaBLOG.  Do we ever steer you wrong? You don't have to answer that.

Aside from a variety of street performances for most of the day, you could check out several burlesque offerings (including a Muppet themed burlesque show) at the Waiting Room. There are plenty of singer/songwriters to check out including Adam Giancarlo (6:00pm at Spot), Mike Criscione (7:00pm at Milkies), Erin Sydney Welsh (7:00pm at Spot), or Danielle DiStefano (5:30pm at Picasso Moon). Oh, and don't forget about the fire dancers in Days Park (9:00pm). This, of course, is all in addition to the numerous art installations, plays/musicals, poetry, improv, and comedy happening throughout the day.

In case you don't have an Artvoice handy, for a full list of performances and installations that I couldn't possibly explain well enough, click here.
