Victory for Poland:  Victory for Poland were the winners of the Music is Art Battle of the Bands.  For a band whose members are still in high school, their sound and influences are surprisingly mature...  Think Modest Mouse or Clap Your Hands Say Yeah.  A young band of talented multi-instrumentalists is something everyone can get into - they'll be playing from 12:45 - 1:00 on Stage #3.

The first buffaBLOG post was on March 28th of 2010 (and what a post it was).  Since then, we have written over 2200 posts,  recorded dozens of podcasts, and attended hundreds of concerts, which leads us up to today, as our little blog has turned two years old.  Tonight, we are throwing ourselves a birthday party and what better way to celebrate than with a handful of our favorite Buffalo musicians.  All week long, we have been previewing our stellar lineup of acts, which constists of Andrew J. Reimers' Country Punk Extravanganza, Early Attic, On Beta, Ramforinkus, and Voodoo Friends, but as for tonight, make sure to get to Nietzsche's for the real thing.  Music begins at 10:00pm sharp, with a cover of only $5, and goes all night long.  Be there to celebrate this great night with us.  I can only hope our birthday is as glorious as Don's was.

By now, you should probably know who Andrew Reimers is and be familiar with his band, the Country Punk Extravaganza. We've covered them countless times on this here blog. But just in case you aren't, listen to the track below.

A.R. does it right, plain and simple. Whether your thing is punk, country or just good old fashioned rock'n'roll, you can't help but smile when you hear the energy and the variety of influence. Reimers' music is a barn party, a dive bar, and a singalong all in one righteous package.

A.J.R. and friends will be making an upcoming appearance at Buffablogs 2nd birthday party along with Early Attic, On Beta, Voodoo Friends, and Ramforinkus at Nietzsches. This will be one of the biggest parties of the year, so come check it out and party with Andy and his Extravaganza!
