It's no secret that Buffalo is rich with a diverse and eclectic dance music scene. Hell, we even had to create a weekly feature so that we could showcase everything going on week after week. That's why its always exciting to discover a new musician who can contribute to the scene and push it forward while still making their own mark. Enter Rosado, the brooklynite sociology student/DJ whose been making a name for himself recently in his new home of Western New York. Rosado may only be a sophomore at UB, but he's pretty crafty at creating clubby house music that doesn't hold anything back. It's uptempo hype music that gives you the adrenaline rush of the dance floor even if your just chillin at home by the laptop. There are elements of all that popular dance music the kids are listening to these days, i.e. Deadmue5, Skillex, and even a little Moby here and there, but it's all excellently mixed so that it creates something entirely its own. In a way, it even kind of reminds me of something you might here from that 90's sports themed techno album 'Pump of the Jams'. Well from now on, lets pump up the Rosado!
