Over the last few months, The Andrew J. Reimers Country-Punk Extravaganza! has gone from being just a very descriptively named mystery band to becoming one of our favorite new acts. Their blend of tears-in-my-beer country and culture-on-the-skids punk first turned our heads and kicked up our boots at the Bidwell Indie 5000 a few months ago, and tonight they're going to light up Elmwood Lounge (522 Elmwood Ave, 9pm) like an Alabama barn. TAJRCPE recently released a demo, but their live show is really where it's at: there are zero lies in their name; it really is an extravaganza.
