We have reached the end of the line with 2011. Tomorrow begins a new year, a chance to start fresh, put your life in perspective, and make some changes. Lets not jump the gun though. If you wish for more of an intimate evening of tunes, head over to Merge tonight where Dotsun Moon will be ringing in the new year in their chilled and relaxed style. The band combines the sounds of trip hop, post-punk, house, and synth pop into a pleasing sound. The group will be playing both new and old tunes tonight, many from their April released 4 a.m. album. DJ Sam Plur will fill in the spaces between sets with a nice mixture of tunes from post-punk to chill wave. Show starts at 9:00pm and as always with Merge, cover is free.
