I randomly downloaded a cover of Bon Iver's "Skinny Love" a couple weeks ago by this artist Birdy and then today I find her covering another one of my all time favorite songs, the Postal Service's "The District Sleeps Alone Tonight". She obviously has great taste in music. All I know about Birdy is that she is British, enjoys covering songs, and has an absolutely beautiful voice. I still prefer the original of this song more but her use of the piano in this song is lovely and I will definitely be listening to it a few more times today. enjoy.
