Jack Toft Forgoes Sleep, Releases Next Video

Over the past year or so, I can't think of many Buffalo musicians who have stayed busier than alt MC Jack Toft. If you have followed this blog enough, you know we are fans of his stuff, and luckily, he releases new music at such a clip that when slow days like today come around, we thankfully have something to post. Toft's latest music video, for the 2009 released "We Cant Go Back Now," was directed by frequent collaborator Malt Disney and produced by fellow video star Ski Mask. The clip for the short and bouncy track features some footage of Toft at WNYBAC doin various art projects, in addition to some nostalgic shots of Ecto Cooler, Sarah Palin, and old-school arcade games. Check it out below.

Coleman J Brahski Releases Debut Video For "Pixel Party"

Local rapper Coleman J Brahski premiered the Malt Disney-directed video for his track "Pixel Party" last summer, in which the fiery MC posts up in a recycling container, a parking garage and other places around the city with former Buffalo DJ/producer Mario Bee. Fans of Odd Future might recognize the Weird Eye produced instrumental from Earl Sweatshirt's "Molliwhopped," which has been edited by Malt Disney. With plenty of nostalgic 90's references, including a shout out to Dunkaroos, combined with the warped, scatter-brained vision of Malt Disney's production, the clip captures the raucous artist firing off random commentary in his eccentric, socially-conscious manner.

Jack Toft Gets In The Christmas Spirit For Latest Video

Getting in the giving spirit early, local MC Jack Toft has released the music video to his Nov 2012 holiday classic "mister crismis." The clip, directed by frequent collaborator Malt Disney, is shot amid the hustle and bustle of downtown Buffalo's Main Place Mall. Given the overwhelming crowd featured in the video, my best guess is that this could have been shot on Black Friday or absolutely any day in the mall, had the Xmas decorations not already been hung that is. Despite the turn in the calendar year since the song first dropped, the timeless holiday tune details the birth of holiday icon "Mister Crismis" and his randy behavior. With less than a month left in the year, expect Buffalo's busiest musician to keep at it as he does best. Here is hoping that Jets hat Toft dons in the video is only for its festive colors...

Jack Toft Releases Latest Malt Disney Collaborative Video

In what may have cemented his status as busiest Buffalo musician of 2013, Jack Toft has released his latest music video collaboration with Malt Disney early this morningAlthough Toft's song content is usually associated with doing beers and addressing Buffalo cultural quips, Jack finds his more sullen side with the track, "Coffee Shop in a Hospital Lobby," taken from last winter's released TEENWOLF AND JACK TOFTThe video features a lethargic Toft, doing raps in the futon aisle of retail giant, Walmart, in between cuts of him enjoying various coffees and fast food selections
