qcc presents a benefit for john sullivan

6p-4a

DBGB’S
253 allen st. Buffalo, NY
I first met Sully last spring outside of Duke’s. When we went back inside after a breath of air, he started going crazy on the dancefloor, and I knew that he genuinely appreciated dancing to good music! John is one of the kindest individuals you could ever hope to meet. Currently his battle against leukemia is becoming too costly for someone who is not permitted to work. Duke’s and the QCC were generous enough to put together this benefit on his behalf. Even if you’re unacquainted with Sully, the night at Duke’s will be full of festivities and good fun. The cover from 6p-9p is $30, and that includes an open bar and all you can eat buffet! After 10p the cover is $5. The DJ lineup is an all-star list of locals. In order of appearance: BROTHER BEAR, TRAKBENDERS, SWAGGLE ROCK, MEDISON, TWIST, AREHOUSE, BIG BASHA, LOKI, PERCEPTOR, and POTENT J b2b w BERETTA. Come show your support, and share in the pleasantries!

BAYOU
79 w. chippewa st. Buffalo, NY
Tropical vibes in the middle of January is kind of appropriate this year. Yeah that was a weather joke, but seriously, if you’re heading down to the Chip strip hit up Bayou for SUNGLASSES MIKE & JUST DUBBS aka #TEAMWHITEGIRLDRUNK along with special guests BROTHER BEAR, and Pittsburgh’s OMEN. Specializing in breaks and basslines OMEN has held down the EDM scene in the Burgh for several years. Crunk white girls know Bayou is their temple on Friday night.
saturday 1/14
Queen City Cartel proudly presents:
=FRICTION=

10p-4a
21+
DBGB’S
253 allen st.
The first Friction party of 2012. Most of you reading do not need further ado, but for those who do NOT know already, Friction is the most banging party around. The artists always bring a special performance energy and the attendees are at the mercy of their swagger. Friction brings out the best in everyone. And this being the year of the dragon, it’s time to take charge and ride out hard. The DJ lineup for this installment is strait fire SWAGGLE ROCK followed by 3PO will open the night, then GENE LINET followed by MIKE PARKER will close out the evening. That’s five, count 'em, five very talented DJs. Do the right thing.

sunday 1/15
SILK

or live at DBGB’S 21+
253 allen st. Buffalo, NY

Also on Friday night there is kind of a secret party, well not so secret, it’s more like a test run for the NEW nightclub in the Statler Tower called RENDEZVOUS. Next Friday there is a FREE Big Trance show there (Cosmic Gate), and on Friday they're gonna have a kind of feeler party. Ew, that sounds creepy, feeler party. Link to the the Facebook event page HERE. I’m interested to check it out; heard that it’s pretty swanky inside. Here’s to hoping they let people book quality shows at the venue.
Keep Buffalo raging everyone. Much Love.

  1. Damn, Rendezvous does look swanky. I want to go to there.

  2. I think you just like the idea of a "feeler party" brian.
