DBGB's has really become known for their electronic/DJ scene thanks to the guys from Queen City Cartel, but don't forget that the place still features live bands, really good ones even. Tonight is one of those nights as the sprawling guitar rockers Aye Karou, whose sound is very 90's college rock meets Broken Social Scene for those keeping tabs, take the stage. Featuring the Fulton brothers of buffaBLOG fav Wooden Waves, Aye Karou began as a Tragically Hip meets Star Wars cover band, but have gone strictly originally since 2010. Also on tonight's bill is the Johnny Hart Band, and because no night at DBGB's could be complete without some kind of DJ, The Owski. Music begins at 10:30 with the Aye Karou boys starting around midnight.
